remidiation work
We provide services to repair and improve unsightly or non-compliant data and communication set-ups, including cable upgrades and rework for existing data cabinets or new installations.
Our work not only enhances the professional appearance of your network but also ensures it's up-to-date, supporting the proper functioning of your software and hardware.
This minimises downtime and reduces frustration caused by inconsistencies in network reliability.
This was the main hub in a small office building, where all communication network devices connected, including the incoming fibre optic line from the street, staff computers, wireless access points, printers, CCTV and more.
The hardware was vulnerable to damage from falling off the counter or cables being stepped on. It was also difficult to trace issues due to the disorganised set-up, making troubleshooting challenging, and the overall appearance was unprofessional and unsightly.
A new cabinet was installed, along with updated hardware, and all outlets were properly labelled for easier troubleshooting in the future.

We overhauled the client's non-compliant data network installation, which was leading to frequent network dropouts. The primary issues stemmed from power cables running too close to the data cables, causing interference. Additionally, some cables had been crushed and bent as a result of poor installation practices.
The cables were also exposed to potential damage, as they were left unprotected on the timber in the roof cavity, where they were vulnerable to impact from other trades. Our update ensured proper separation, better cable management, and protection to prevent further damage, ultimately stabilising the network and improving its performance.

Whether installing a new fiber optic line or repairing a damaged one, we rely on a highly effective tool known as a fusion splicer. This precision machine expertly fuses fiber optic cables together with microscopic accuracy, ensuring a flawless connection. By doing so, it optimises the data flow, allowing the network to run at its peak efficiency and minimising any potential disruptions or signal loss. The fusion splicer plays a crucial role in maintaining the high-performance standards expected from fibre optic systems.
